A Note For Our Community

Dear SBCLT Community,

These past few weeks have been tumultuous and overwhelming. The COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for our communities, with our poor and working class community members being affected the most. Many of us will face economic uncertainty and struggle to maintain stable housing in the midst of temporary layoffs and business closures.

This is why SBCLT exists. By creating lasting stability for our community and future generations, we can ensure that our community is buffered from the volatility of challenging times like these.

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This unprecedented crisis is overwhelming, but you are not alone. We stand in solidarity with all the people organizing to #CancelRent and ensure a future where our collective wellbeing is centered over profits.

Estimada comunidad SBCLT,

Estas últimas semanas han sido tumultuosas y abrumadoras. La pandemia de COVID-19 ha creado nuevos desafíos para nuestras comunidades, siendo nuestros miembros de la comunidad pobres y de clase trabajadora los más afectados. Muchos de nosotros enfrentaremos incertidumbre económica y lucharemos por mantener una vivienda estable en medio de despidos temporales y cierres de negocios.

Por esto existe SBCLT. Al crear una estabilidad duradera para nuestra comunidad y las generaciones futuras, podemos asegurarnos de que nuestra comunidad esté protegida de la volatilidad de tiempos difíciles como estos.
